Hi, just wondering how to make a good 8-man rotation. Ofcourse i have my starting 5, but i just want to use 3 bench players. How can i do this wthout 2 of my starting 5 playing for the whole game(48 min)?

So i want to be able to play 3 guys aprox 40 min and 2 guys around 35 min. And i want to use my 3 benchplayers to get in there and fill in the rest of the minutes.

U dont have to check out my team for advises (im on a rebuilding stage right now) i just want general tips!

Thanks!

difficult to manage, with double back you could come to 2* 40 and one time 16, but thats pretty random sometimes one will player nearly 48 minutes the next time they share minutes etc.

For 35 min you should better assign a real and single backup.

With a lot of luck your coach substitute around your wishes with coach decide and a blank lineup pretty unrealistic but tthe task is also hard to handle.

Thank you for the respons, i dont know if this simulation game is something to compare to real basketball. But when i watched the nba playoffs the teams usually used a 8 man rotation. Think its the optimal way to play your lineup without anyone of your star playersgetting exhausted.

But its a realistic filosofi, if i played my starting 5 in this game the whole playoffs, would thier performance decrese the further i go in the playoffs?

your s5 will lack gs fast, and play worse but already during the games, they will suffer decline. ( men rotation are possible and often used like that:

Positions from PG to C, first player hthe starter second the backups:

A-F
B-F
C-G
D-H
E-H

Another possibilitie is blank lineup and coach decide, even when i would favour a 9-10 men rotation. And i believe the big rotation even win in the PO.

Yes, because they would average big ass minutes (80+) and their Game Shape would decrease significantly.

8 man rotations on BB is pretty hard to do successfully.

If your bench guys are decent you may want to consider shifting your starting line-ups in a way that gets everyone at least one start a week. Depending on your opponent you could have one Inside Focused Line-Up and another Outside Focused Line-up. This may only be feasible if the back up players are decent or are at least decent defensively.
