Yay so I made it to 6th round on the finnish cup, which is good for me as I made it to 3rd round last season. I've been lucky enough to get easy teams against my team. But this time I didn't have über luck , but I guess it could be worse. I will be facing this team next thursday, do I stand a change? Should I even bother?

As you compare my team to his , take a notice that this is my 2nd full season, hence the lowsy team :D Thanks in advance!

My enthusiasm is 12 if that matters.

You can definitely beat that guy, your teams are fairly even because he's killing his top players into bad game shape.

If you crunch and play your top players, I'd put $$$ on you. If he holds back his top players then you're in really good shape but I doubt he will.

You're actually in danger of making the same mistakes he's making with gameshape. Don't play your top guys 100 minutes a week or they simply start playing poorly. Restrict their minutes in game against bots and other weak teams.

Yeah well that's what I'm trying to do. I mean try to keep the weekly minutes @ around 75-80. One of my players played 104 minutes this week, which wasn't ment to happen. I had him as a backup player, and I was using let the coach decide option. Someone from the enemy´s team made a fault @ 0:01 and the coach made him go to the court and he stayed there for a whopping 36minutes -.- There's nothing I can do at that point.

Sure theres something you can do. Do not put the guy in your lineup at all once he has played 60-70 minutes in a given week, then the coach wont use him. ;)

Even 80 minutes is too much. 50-70 is safe. I find that only players have maxed out at strong-proficient stamina can get away with 75-80 mins in a week.

But if the 3rd game of the week is a walkover cup game or a scimmage, there absolutely no reason to put the player in your active lineup at all. Put him on the sidelines.
