To be honest they are both bad trainees. Trainee #1 is tall for a guard trainee and atrocious passing doesn't work for a guard, his inside skills are too low to train him as a big man or SF. Trainee #2 has some decent inside skills the problem is his height. At 6'0 training inside skills will be very slow. His outside skills especially JR would make turning him into a useful guard take a very long time.

I don't think they are totally garbage trainees, in fact they were probably worth a lot more at the begging of the season. The problem is that this is no longer the begging of the season. These players only have a handful of weeks before they turn 18. I would have not paid the money that you did for them and rather invested in the draft for this next year for several reasons.

1. It would be cheaper than buying these guys.
2. You would hopefully get 18 years old at the beginning of the season.
3. Drafted players would strengthen merchandise income.
4. You are literally in a league full of bots. (If it didn't hurt attendance so much , I would recommend you try to tank to
4th place to increase your draft number since even the playoffs will be a piece of cake.)
5. Even if you didn't draft well, other draftees are cheaper at that time because of so many flooding the market.

But as of now I would say to focus on one of these guys if you are going to train them. Because they both have different deficiencies, training to fix both and switching off every week would make those skills stay relatively low for quite a while.
For example #1 has atrocious passing and #2 has atrocious jump range. By training passing one week and outside shooting the next you would slow both of the trainees growth. Perhaps if you do wish to keep both you could train them in skills they both are bad at like handling and driving. These are generally not super attractive skills like some others, but nobody like to see skills below respectable and these will be the fastest to train up to that level for sure. Which could possibly help you train other skills due to the elasticity effect.

stop being haters,

start training their guard skills which mean stop training Inside skills for now, 6'6 isnt too tall and you can potentially turn him into a good SF later on. the 6'0 guy might have crappy primaries but you can definately turn him into a SG with nice secondaries.

Is that what they call being a hater now? Yikes I am in trouble.

Actually just trying to give advice for the future so mistakes would not be made, but I also gave him some good advice for the present as well. I looked at his players to find out how to optimize training. I don't even think he trained ID. His guy popped in Inside Defense because of the last guy who trained him because he acquired him this Friday.

First guy needs lots of OD training and he can become solid SF. The second guy is very short and can't be good big man. He can train outside skills but 4 and 1 at JS and JR kills all of the hope. I think the second player is not worth training. Sell him.

JR 1... He can never become SG. I mean, yes, he can but not a successful one.
