Jazz fans eh? I'm sorry. Maybe you should introduce yourself to the coach of the Jr Jazz All Stars in league III.2. He might be the only other one of your kind...

@Eminence. I respect everyone's opinion, but how in the world do you have the Lakers winning so easily??? How did they upgrade their roster? They got rid of their best bench player in Odom and their second best in Brown. Yes McRoberts and Murphy are scrappy and do the little things, but they don't make this team that much better in comparison to last season. Plus a shortened season doesn't bode well for old legs.

Also, you have them beating the Thunder. 2 years ago when the Lakers won the Championship the Thunder were one rebound away from taking it to a game 7. The Thunder are far better now than they were then, and the Lakers still have zero answer for Westbrook. He torches them every time they play. The Thunder are just not a good matchup for the Lakers in my opinion. Anyway, just really curious how you came about these conclusions....even the Knicks on the other side...

First off these were almost all gut picks;)

Next on to my newly restored faith in the Lakers:
1.Blake appears to have bounced back from a down year last season.
2.MWP/McRoberts>Odom off bench in my mind.(Their bench also seems really deep this season)
3.Bynum should continue to improve as one of the leagues best post presences.
4.I like the Kapono pickup, they finally have someone who can actually shoot the 3.
5.Finally I think Brown's season long emphasis on D will help them more in the playoffs, this isn't the old Kobe/Shaq lakers that could just go out and outscore anyone anytime they wanted to.

And those are my thoughts.

How do you have the Pacers beating the Hawks? The Hawks dont have enough respect. They have the best defense and the 4th best offense so far with a perfect 3-0 start. After they play the Heat and Bulls then we will now the true Atlanta Hawks.
I think the Hawks will make it to the Eastern Conference Finals and turn some heads this year.

Umm, they have they 18th defense? We'll see I guess, but the Pacers are young and growing while the Hawks seem to me at least to have leveled off a bit.

So... Predictions from anyone else?
