its been bugging for me for awhile now why are we not allowed to trade player. like player to player+cash? something like that.. could someone enlighten me..thanks ^_^

why i guess but it would be nice to have that option.. but the trade would be approved by a gm

This has been suggested before but as mentioned, cheating would be rampant. It would almost certainly ruin the game if it was allowed because far too many new players don't have a clue what the proper values of the players are so complaints about it would be endless. I've played several fantasy leagues where lopsided trading has absolutely ruined the league.

Stick around and I think you'll find out that having a transfer wire is a much better way to go. Better for you and better for the entire community. It's the reason why this game works where others have failed.

Ive always taken the approach, that the transfer league is pretty much the 'trade market'.

lets say you have a player X and he is a PF, but you really need a SF of similar ability.

So what you do, is you scour the transfer market for a similarly priced SF and bid and then eventually buy him.

Now you need to offload your PF. So you put him on the transfer market, and sell him.

The end result is the same. You get rid of Player X and end up with a new player Y. The fact that you didn't send player X to the team that you bought player Y from, is irrelevent.

Same deal with, if you have 3 players that are crapola, and you sell them. Essentially, you are 'trading' them to other teams, for cash.

Thats how i look at the transfer market.

i am not really motivated to do so, also you had to consider that you have around 50.000 teams here and low informations about their players. So this could also lead to a lot of spam mails, like would you trade this player and even worse i am looking for an SG which skills has yours?

And if you sell a player and you have money, you have the oppurtunity to buy a lot of players, with that "trade chips" you received for him, with the positive side effect that the trade value is controlled by quite a few unrelated managers. This make is also more likely that the player who buys your player exactly wants someone like him, and the player you buy is fitting your requirements too.

i guess we have to stick to whats working right now..why fix if its not broken hehe .. thanks for the info everyone :)
