So... iv reached a point where this game just isnt interesting me anymore to the point where i forgetabout it and about setting lineups and training etc and is just ruining my team and hard to compete when you have bad gs and not getting the right training etc. so i have decided im going to stop playing.

However i just had a quick thought that it is very hard and takes forever for a new team to go from a div IV and try to get to ABBL. So i thought that maybe i could just give my password and username to a new player instead of them having to try and build up and it take so long. (which at the beginning was what i loved so much about this game, but in the end has killed it for me). Then they can spend a little on a new name and stadium if they want and will have a little consolidation to start from.

Anyway thought that id just see what ppl thought and if someone wanted to just give me a bbmail, but be quick, as i wont be around here for much longer.

Hey gold nuggets, that's a shame that you are quitting BB. But if the game does not interest you as much then I guess there is no point in wasting your time here. However in saying that there are other avenues you can pursue.

You can log on once every 3-4 weeks to keep your account active, and just train some young players (preferably aussies). Its not that hard to set your lineup and training for that on default. If that is beyond you then I guess quitting altogether is your only choice.

Many seasons ago when I was div3, I also lost interest in BB and didn't log on for several weeks. The motivation and interest level to play BB changes from time to time. BB might bored you now but later on in a few years you might gain some interest back. You have spent a lot of BB money and time building up your arena so if you keep your account you won't have to start from scratch, who knows...

Anyways just wanted to get this famous BB phrase in "BB is not a sprint, its a marathon" so even though you have not made it to the ABBL, you will get there eventually... it takes some luck and time.

This is strictly prohibited. The only person that should have login access to your account is you.

New users must register for a new team and can not babysit any accounts or take over your account.

Trying to get to ABBL isn't as daunting as you make it out to be. The youngest team in ABBL is now Yoda and he has done it in 7 seasons where he started in D4 and is now ABBL. It can be done. you just need to be smart with your team decisions and have a well thought out plan

hey nuggs,

i have found in the past when i have struggled to maintain interest, it has been not beacause of the game but maybe the lack of community in the league i was in.. i checked your forums and there has been what, 13 posts there for the season?

maybe try involving yourself in another leagues forum.. 3.6 and 3.12 for example have pretty active comminuties for div 3 leagues, and always welcome vistiors from other leagues! i know from experience when 3.12 went from pretty inactive to activity going through the roof, that my interest in the game jumped 10 fold.

Whilst i genuinely do love this game, it is the community and banter with the guys in my league and the PL i am in that keep me coming back for more!

@GM-Monkeybiz - Congrats, and way to hijack a thread :P

To be annoying... I promoted to the ABBL in 7 seasons... yoda made it in 8..

You also promoted to the ABBL after your 7th season!

Koop did it in his 6th seasons!

But yoda is the younger team!

And to be exactly fair:

Koop promoted via a massive case of luck.

I would have promoted after 5 seasons if WA didn't land in my D2 league. Would have been 6 seasons if Crushers didn't land in my league.....

Yes it is all a matter of luck. I did take one more season but lost two entire seasons thanks to Bryce Gibbs making it his personal mission to send me back to division III, the all eggs in one basket strategy with a constantly broken basket and the crash in player values that had me on the wrong side of the curve.

Looking at the next lot of teams most likely to promote it is great to see a couple more young teams with a good chance.
