Instead of margins you guys can create a "spread" that has to be covered.For example Bainsy v Skyhooks: Bainsy +10. So a bet on Bainsy means that you are expecting him to win by more than 10.However with 18 games a week there is probably already more than enough to guess on.
a) I agree keep it to 6 or so games. While I'm interested in the idea, there is no way I could be stuffed analysing 18 games every week!b) re margins, could you do it in a similar fashion to the way most footy tipping comps are run. That is, have one game (the game of the round) where a margin tip is required. This would act as a tie breaker for the round (most tips + closest to the margin for the round wins) and could also act as a season tie breaker in the event that two or more teams are tied.
guessing margins is something we do in our 3.12 comp.. we had 2 correct guesses last nite, and a couple just off.. it adds to the excitement to get a correct guess, and it could also be a way to have 1 clear winner..happy to do whatever the people vote for :D
