Is it possible or is it more likely impossible? I'll most likely be relegating to div-III by the end of this season, and I'll be needing 3-4 new players. I can't remember whether it's impossible to try to buy a player for a reasonable price or not. I can imagine all the new players using all their money to buy this one player they're interested of, or some other teams in the same position I am.

How do you manage to buy a new player/players when a new season start?

I think I tried to buy like one player when this season started, and I remember that there was always someone offering higher than me, even though I was nearly at the end of the price what seemed to be reasonable for that individual player.

The reason I can't buy them all before the end of this season is that I won't get the 300k before I win the finals for relegating. Maybe I'm able to buy 1-2 players before the start of the next season, but the main question of this thread still stands.

Thx.

You must try to buy when there are less managers conected. For example, from monday to wednesday I bought players cheaper than on weekends. Offseason you see much less users loged, too.
A great time to buy pretty cheap players is when playoffs start. As you won't be able to use 'em, you can nail som free agent or some forced sale (the went bankrupt) and get some cool finds.
The beginning of the season is a good time because a lot of GM organize thier roster, so you'll have plenty of chances.
In the end, is a lot about patiece and several tries. Check the market everyday, iin fact, any time, and eventually you'll nail it.

Now, don't expect an 18 year old MVP fo 1k because that won't happen ever.

Relegating from Div IV. to Div III ? Wow can you teach me how to do that?

Anyway the best way to do shopping is to bookmark a bunch of players on the transfer list and watch them until they are getting close to coming off. You need to have supporter for the bookmark option.

Ooooooooh now I get it, you see I was confused before when he said relagate, I didn't know he actually meant promote. Because you know sometimes when people type the word relegate they really mean promote. So in this case I wasn't sure if he meant for relegate to mean promote or if he meant relegate to mean relegate. But after you figured out what he meant to say when he said relegate, now I see he clearly meant to say promote and not relegate. This should have been easy for me to figure out because relegate means to go down to the lower division and he was talking about promoting to the higher division so to relegate to a higher division doesn't make any sense. Now that you have made everything clear I hope that he can promote and not relegate.

After promoting I only have around 900k-1m to spare. So I'll have to find some cheap + good players @ the same time. Might even have to expand my arena a little bit. We'll see. It's hard to buy any players without being sure if you are going to relegate or not(my best player injured & out for the season) + can't really know in what kind of division I'll end in. :(

Yep, that's him. I don't have any other players injured atm. I don't feel like spending 200k on a player that might not even fit my team next season ( I mean I might not need 2 "high" salary PF next season(can't really tell yet as I got no idea in which kind of division I'll end(If I will even promote)))

I'll most likely try to buy a good PF who's old as hell and the price tag on him is reasonable ;) Just for the playoff-games.

Off topic but u need to learn how to manage GS. The 50k player shouldn't be playing scrimmages at all.
