Passing and OD. I've been told by a couple of people that they've succeeded as high as div. III with no players higher than respectable/strong passing, and everyone always says defense is more important than offense in this game, so gun to my head I'd probably say OD.

I think the best rest for defense to be more important is because it takes one skill trained for a good defensive player but a good offensive player needs many different skills to be trained well. It is much easier and can affect a player much more in a short amount of training.

Personally, I never look at a guard, even a rookie trainee, unless OD is respectable+.
