There´s an idea in the German Forums I´d like to take over here to the public Suggestions.

In Europe, it´s rather common practice to have continental club events, like the Euroleague, ULEB cup and plenty others. While the variety of events is pretty boring and annoying, I think it would still be fun to have another event next to the BBB for teams to compete across the countries borders.

So for example the runner-up and the cup-finalist (loser) of each country go into some tournament with teams from a rather local area. Something like 8 countries (with geological connections) together and playing for a champion?

Cups like "Mediterreanean Cup", "Alps Cup", Eastern Europe Cup, Kreml Cup, Vikings Tournament, Eastern-Asian Cup, and so on ... Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech, Slowakia, Slowenia, Hungary and Denkmark in one cup (Central Europe) ... Portugal, Andorra, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg in another (Western Europe) ... Greece, Croatia, Serbia, Malta, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Makedonia in Souteast Cup ... UK (4 countries), Ireland, Norway, Finland and Sweden in the Northern Light Cup, Poland, the Baltic States (3 of them), Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus maybe ... something like this? With winners of each cup maybe meeting in some kind of "final fours" following regional aspects ...

I guess that for this suggestion, which is much "heavier" on servers than the simple calculation on weekly salaries, they invented a new day...

Maybe, instead of this proposed competition. There could be another tournament. Similiar to the National Tournaments. Where the top 1024 or 2048 teams(World Ranking) have a tournament set up just like the National Tournament. All teams.participating in B3 would not be allowed in this tournament and then the next best teams according to ranking will fill out the tournament. Winner of the tournament could get a financial prize or a spot in the next B3 or both.

Forgot to add these games would be like B3 games. No enthusiasm or gameshape effects.

Don´t take the proposed groups to seriously. You might aswell randomize the concept, making groups of 8 countries on a rather "random" draw, so that every season there´s a complete new "shake" of countries. One playing for the Rose Bowl, another for the Cotton Bowl, and so on...

I do like the concept of a tourney based on World RL also, but Pini will be here telling me I only like that because I´m borderline qualifying, so I reject me opinion there. But yes, beeing engaged in some kind of an international tourney would be a task for my team.

You can already organize as many cups as you want, pay for supporter package and start a private league. If you want to make it big take a sneek peak in the big boys banter fed, they have a multi divison competition running.

I still dont get where this suggestion - as inaccurate as it is right now - should take us.

Im lazy and would not want to set that up :p Also I do not have supporter and while it is at a reasonable cost, im 16 without a credit card and my mother has alot more important things to pay for then BB supporter.

Also I do not see what is so inaccurate about this suggestion It will include another 2048 managers(my suggestion at least) in the game more. People will actually start to care about their ranking and it could keep some managers on board BB longer. More to do, more games to be played, more fun! In the end that is why we all play this game. We find it fun. I have seen so many new managers say something along the lines of "too slow, not enough games." and while BuzzerBeater is designed more towards a strategist, why not include another game?

I even thought of a name! B2A2(BuzzerBeaters Above Average) it rolls off the tongue nicely :)

There´s a difference between something "you can do" and something "youc an achieve". Qualifying for an international and OFFICIAL BB tourney is a task.
