Coin Collectors vs Brisbane Thunder - 80 - 117

The Thunder were probably the favorites coming into this 1, and they didnt let their fans down, beating up on the re-tooling Coin Collectors. The Thunder came out firing, and put this 1 to bed before half time!

3 votes - Cristiano Semoni - Brisbane Thunder - Semoni was unstoppable, 31/17 on the night, on 10-12 shooting! wow!
2 votes - Marko Anteljević - Brisbane Thunder - Marko backed up Semoni in the paint, and the duo were just awesome!
1 vote - Marcel Wambersie - Brisbane Thunder - Marcel banked a double double in just 26 mins of play, and stuffed his opponent on the defensive end of the floor...

Collectors poor shooting on the night, cost them any votes in this 1.

Team Akuma vs Skyhook Dreamers - 119 - 57

Another chapter in the 3.6 vs 3.12 rivalry, and the Dreamers were just on the sidelines for this 1.. Akuma was always going to win, the question was simply by how much?

3 votes - Juan Andrés Álvaro - Team Akuma - Juan was in a training drill out there.. he showed how you dominate inside, helping himself to 28 points and 15 boards..
2 votes - Clinton Abimbola - Team Akuma - Clinton was in the zone, not only helping himself to 21 points on solid shooting, but completely shutting down his opponent on the defensive end as well, keeping Chan to 7-32 for the evening.
1 vote - Mark Booth - Team Akuma - Booth was everywhere.. Whilst his shooting was a little off, he made a great contribution to his team with rebounds and assists!

Warren Bulls vs Maggots - 83 - 96

2 evenly matched teams went at it in this 1 in a classic inside vs outside game.. both teams got their tactics right, but the Maggots managed to take this 1 out.

3 votes - Christian Brakenhoff - Maggots - The Hoff was magnificent in this 1.26 points on 10-20 shooting whilst also adding 7 boards and 5 dimes. A true team performance!
2 votes - Danny Browne - Warren Bulls - Browney did everything to keep his team in this 1! a solid DD, and 4 steals to cap off a solid defensive night!
1 vote - Angel Ostermann - Maggots - Angel had wings in this one! he was a true general on the court, and led his team to victory, taking the good shots when they were there, and making some great passes to team mates.

Week 1 - Part 2

Moorditj Magick vs Shepparton Shooters - 81 -101

The ever improving Magick vs the always impressive Shooters! The Magick kept it close for 3 quarters and looked the goods for an upset, but the shooters rallied in the 4th and blew the game wide open!

3 votes - Junel Viojan - Shepparton Shooters - Viojan was at his best in this one. 33 points and 21 boards. Just outclassed his opponents on the night
2 votes - Johnny Dogan - Moorditj Magick - Dogan battled hard all night for the Magick. 27 points, 4 boards and a couple of dimes, and put pressure on his opponent ahuir restricting him to 5-14 on the night.
1 vote - Joey Anderson - Shepparton Shooters - Anderson helped himself to 26 points and 9 boards on the night, on just under 50% shooting.

Kynlala Knights vs Bringing Sexy Back - 93 - 72

A true David vs Goliath battle in this 1.. Knights best player earns more than Sexy's whole team, so they were up against it from the beginning. Sexy did well to keep this 1 to 20 :D

3 votes - Vlas Golovnin - Kynlala Knights - When you earn more than your opponent combined, you should dominate, and Golovnin did just that.. 48 points 16 boards, and not a drop of sweat or single hair out of place after the match!
2 votes - Vladimir Bacarevic - BSB - Bacarevic played the game of his life in this one, 21 points, 14 boards and a couple of blocks to round out the game.
1 vote - Sinan Eseray - Kynlala Knights - Sinan was inspired by his team mate Vlas in this 1! 15 points, 19 boards and dominated his opponent at the other end of the floor.

CROCKERS vs Mad Rangas - 88 - 77

Both teams came with the same strategy for this 1 and it was anyones game! In the end, it was the offensive flow of the CROCKERS and their hard work inside that got them the win in this 1.

3 votes - Ermanno Rossano - CROCKERS - Rossano was brilliant in this 1! 18 points and 21 boards, and kept his man quiet at the other end.. He was probably the difference in this 1!
2 votes - Gerald Davila - Mad Rangas - Davilla was everywhere in this 1! scoring his 23 points all over the court.. Add 6 boards and 4 dimes gets him the 2 votes in this game!
1 vote - Rod McPhail - 24 points, 7 dimes and 4 boards, Mcphail is probably wondering how he walks away with only 1 vote!

CROCKERS Vs Skyhook Dreamers 71 - 43 very boring game to give points for. just a tremendously BAD game of basketball, fans would have wanted their money back i'm sure.

- almost gave the 1 point to C. Abimbola for a very similar game to R. McPhail but turn overs and fg% gave McPhail the edge.

TeamAkuma Vs Coin Collectors 92 - 80 Much closer than I certainly thought.

3 - C. Abimbola [ TeamAkuma ] ( 10 - 19fg, 2-7 3ptrs, 24 points against some CRAZY OD in the Coin Collectors trainees )
2 - D. Zhongde [ Coin Collectors ] ( 12 - 21 fg 1-2 3ptrs 25 points and 12 rebounds probably helped keep this game so close )

I wanted to give the 1 points to G. Chilò Trosman but at +- -46 and a 5.0 rating I just couldn't do it, 38 points or not


I know I gave the losing team more points a couple times, but frankly this is MVP and I'm stickin to my guns, and in fact if people want to protest that's fine, but I don't see anyone else contributing at all from the South ( cept for skyhooks early on ) so perhaps just accept my votes hey!
