I just take this team just for less than three weeks, alothough I have tried my best to build up my team, I only got the 7th of east devison, so the question comes, I only have a SC to play for the next several weeks until next season, so what should I do? I'm in the IV right now, 7th ranking is ok to keep my team in this IV or next season I will go to the V?

I'm really puzzled right now, hope seniors like you can help me, thaks very much!

My team is the 7th of the east divison.

Thank you all the same although this is really a bad news for me, west 6th is really a good team, this team is played by a "wisdom" player, he quit two games in order to get the 6th of west in order to play several more games... and this team is much stronger than my team...

OK, now I have to prepare for my next season maybe in the V league...

Being a new player in the game, I would not worry so much about beating another team in the relegation series. Focus more on training up young players and selling them when they good enough to make some money. Then when you buy new trainees, start thinking about competing at a higher level. While you are training up your players, you will move up quickly, because your players will get better. All you will need to do then is buy players to fill in the other spots. It's not too hard to move up from the lower leagues, but if you do not slowly build your team, you will never be sucessful. In other words, focus more on your financial state right now and creating good young players. It shouldn't take more than another 1-2 seasons before you see a real progress. Also read the game manual and other forum post in BB Global and Help to ansawer many questions you may have.

Thanks a million! Australian are full of passion in my memory as you! And you really give me a good plan for the future! I like playing games like 2K or Live, but also I'm interested in building up a dynasty, so I choose this game! Some of Chinese players play in a "clever" way-- one or two good players, then 6 or 7 players with 2 "rubbish" players including, but I'm a obstinate "manager", no matter how does the game works, I would rather to build up my team with at least 10 players for a really basketball game, starting lineups and good bench players, I would like to pay 40% of my team salary for those bench players who may hardly play 5 minutes per game, cuz in my mind, a real team must have good and long bench.
So my first 3 weeks of this game is a period of time debating with myself, to build a BB TEAM, or to fulfill my dream in this game no matter how far can this team go in the future or which level is suitable for my team.

The reason to play this game is I love basketball very much and I want to have my own team, to run it in my opinion. So I will try my best to run this team well in the game mode, but also I will try to build it like a "real" team regardless of foolish~

After chatting with you, I feel better, there's still 10% hope for me to beat this team, I will try my best to beat it, cuz the meaning of basketball game is winning my opponent~

And finally best wishes to your team , hope you can achieve your final goal in the future!

There are a few other things you should know about the best way to build. Start of next season when the new draftess come out, invest some money in 18 year olds, or 19 year old player if you can not afford 18 year olds. Make sure they have allstar potential as a minmum but aim for a minimum of MVP if you can afford it. Pick one position to train them in. SF is not a good idea for beginers, however, PG or C is much easier. Train defense first for a couple of seasons before focusing on other skills. I'm sure that as this your players progress, you will figure out what to train next. There is alway the option of this forum, or a mentor that can help guide you.
Read these guides to help you out with how training works. (381.1) and (78242.1)
Getting a mentor just to get you pointed in the right direction isn't a bad idea. You can always ask for one here (200647.1) or purhaps try in your countries forum.

Now people think differently when it comes to buying staff. In my opinion, a lvl 1 doctor is enough for now. A level 3 PR manager is ok. When it comes to a trainer, lvl 5 is what I'd aim for. Just make sure you dont buy one with a high salary.

Also don't build your stadium until you can afford to do so. Stadium seat prices are also important. Put them too high, and you wont make as much money as you can. Put them too low, and you might sell out, but you wont make as much money as you can. It basically something that you will need to work out for what price is the best for each section. There is a thread here somewhere about that, but I can not find it. If I get a little more time and find it, I will post it on here.

Just remember, playing BB is not a sprit, it's a marathon. It takes time and patience to build a great team.

Wish you all the best with your team. Most of all, enjoy :)

Thanks a lot about your wisdom advice.

Now I face a really big problem right now, now my roster is good, maybe good enough to be the 4th or 5th of this league

but right now, I badly need money to build up my team, to pay for their salary, to extend my arena, to buy new player and so on.

As far as now, my team is better than last year, but maybe not as good as others in my league, now I need to extend my arena, which part do you think is the first part to extend?
