I've been noticing this pattern and I'm not sure if its something I should worry about and attempt to correct or not. Last season, my first full one, my team underwent heavy reconstruction as I removed less skilled players and sought good bargains via free agency. Through this process I managed to get a rather decent record and make it to the finals of my division albeit suffering a low familiarity score for the team amongst the fanbase. Due to this and the success of the team I decided to largely leave it alone this season and have done well once more. In all current season categories but one in the fan survey, my fanbase rates us 4 or higher in the response. That one category however, the fans perception of my efforts to improve the team, has sunk faster than the titanic, down to 0.5.
Should I be doing something, despite the team's perfect season? Or is there just no pleasing the fanbase completely?
TL;DR, Make the effort to change the team and the fans are unfamiliar with the team; let the team succeed without changes and fans think you're lazy as a GM.
