hi guys,

as drafting it's pretty important lets start a little discussion about the draft order that we set.

i'll start with a question. i scouted only two decent players (didn't invest in draft so much). for one of them i have all the info, the other i only scouted him once.

so, my question is, how many good players in the first 16 spots of the draft? should i place the "decent players" i scouted at first or try to get something better by putting them after the first 10 guys that i didn't scout but have 5 grey stars?

the players i scouted one of them has 5 stars rating, 3 stars potential and A grade.

the other has 5 stars rating but i don't know anything else.

so, thanks for any help.

Grey stars doesn't mean anything. They're just samples. The other 5 star rating player can be 1 to 5 potantial. We can't know that. IMO, you should put the guy who has 5 stars rating and 3 stars potential #1, and the other one #2. I wish it would be a good draft for you :)

Isnce 3 balls potencial in my eyes is low one. I put 4 or 5 ball potencial 5 or 4 balls skills into the front. then i push those 5 skill 3 potencial guys to the most bottom of 18year old ones, cause somewhere between grey ball players there must be someone with really high potencial. So its better in my opinion to try to catch those beasts instead of grabbing vegetables.

At this draft i have 1 player 4 and 4 ball ratings B+, so since his salary gona be somewhere at 3500, i put him first. And i have 7 players 4-5 balls and 3 balls potencial, so i put them at the bottom, also scouted some 3, 2 and 1 ball players 8 players of 18 year old left gray. SO im gona take a shot at them and hope i will draft some. I can bet there are like atleast 3 players along those 8 unscouted with 4 or 5 potencial. SO in my eyes its worth it.

If you haven't scouted a lot it's just like gambling. Just hope for the best.

Grey stars doesn't mean anything. They're just samples

so, basically the 5 greyed out stars are just random ? the first 10 players that have 5 grey stars are totally random and could be (as a group) worse than another group from the board?

either way, the guy with 3-star potential is not that high. and I think i will follow justututukas advice and put them behind the grey ones. i don't know nothing about them but it's better to take a gamble and see if maybe I get lucky and land a really good one than to settle.

thanks for the answers guys. really helpful.

good luck for everybody in the draft.
