Well after my first season Canada is heading straight to the repechage. This training camp will weed out the players that will give us the best chance to win our repechage group and qualify for the worlds. There is a scrimmage set up on Monday against Uruguay. Bolded players will be in the lineup for that game, but are not necessarily on the roster.

Guards:
Emmanuel Delorme(19313785)
Julien Berthelot(19313702)
Tiago Macedo(19313700)
Rungroj Promrat(19314719)
Grygoriy Kabanov(19313372)
Leonid Lutsyshin(19314738)
Gian Carlo Mucci(19313523)
Lesley Bergman(19315439)
Candrapada Venkatesh(19313726)
Stephen O'Higgins(19314389)
Roderick Maher(19314355)
Mark Meadows(19313135)
Erik Amaya(19315070)
Jacky Turcotte(19314811)

Bigs(* denotes 20 yo):
Matthew Crowley(19314245)
Leo Laverdure(19314640)
Charles-Francois Pion(19314764)
John Cutler(19313383)
Ian Ketkar(19314863)
Zahir Omar(19313184)
Curtis Worley(19313993)
Moses Main(19313108)
John Crossland(19313618)
Jeremiah Estep(19314126)
Stefano Vecchio(19315008)
Carsten Pallisch(19313889)
Michael Hackett(21465411)
Michel Campagnat(19313677)
Karl Ludger Klaber(19315111)
Philip Collin(20813522)*

SF:
Irving Doty(19314074)
Steven Trotter(19315778)
Samuel Dawson(19314411)

I think I have the opening roster pretty much set and the players playing in the game are definitely the favourites, but there are still decisions to be made. I like our SF options, but we are not very deep this season. We will see how Monday goes.

Well the team has been picked and it is down to 11 players this season! Here they are!

Samuel Dawson(19314411)
Picked number 1 in the Season 15 draft by The Aristocrats and quickly transferred to div V USA where he was developed, and ending up in division III France, Samuel Dawson has been around. Samuel is expecting some good minutes this season. He was quick to let me know that, but if he is playing bad he will not play... no matter how many lectures on the french language I will have to endure... you cannot blackmail me Samuel!

Ian Ketkar(19314863)
Drafted and Developed by Soul Crushers, Ian has helped this team climb to division II. Ketkar has developed at a pretty good pace and is one of four big men on the team this season. Playing for the Soul Crushers has taught Ketkar a lot of things and hopefully his soul crushing ability can be put to work against some of the stars of other teams!

Leonid Lutsyshin(19314738)
Selected by Montreal Aces in Season 15 and then transferred for a measly 3.5 million to div IV Latvija has allowed for some development for Leonid. Although constant therapy has been needed for Leonid as he struggles to deal with the expectations of being an All-Time Great. Making the U21 squad certaintly helped.

Moses Main(19313108)
Drafted by J Dragons and then quickly sold for 510k to another Canadian team has kept Moses in Canada his whole career. When it was announced that Hong Kong would host the World Championships and that he could get to leave Canada for the first time i his life, he fainted. Let us hope that does not become a regular thing with him...

Mark Meadows(19313135)
Drafted and developed by damian13ster, Mark Meadows has always been a country boy, living the dream. Well that dream just got a whole lot more crazy. Being selected to the U21 team has Meadows pumped. This country boy is making the most of every oppurtunity and being our second M.M. player besides Moses Main has allowed him to make friends. Mark will be a key to the teams success this season.

Stephen O'Higgins(19314389)
Another Draft and Develop out of the Webfoots organization and O'Higgins has helped his team promote to division II. with all his experience being on the PoP winner last season and now being in division II will allow O'Higgins to excel on our team. Hong Kong will be the most competitive thing Stephen has done, but he is certaintly up to the challenge.

Rungroj Promrat(19314719)
Drafted by the Soaring Eagles and then transferred over to Dream Shakers has gotten Rungroj to a strong division II team. Candidate for best name of the season, his days of hanging around dusty old proms is coming to an end as he is now a part of the U21 team. His name will certaintly distract players.

Steven Trotter(19315778)
Drafted by West Side Saints and then placed on Free Agency and bought for 2 million has led Trotter to div IV France. Some exceptional training has Trotter ready to do battle at the repechage and although he is 21 and balding he is not letting that get to his head... not that it hasn't. Trotter has been known for his lack of worth ethic and is actually called trotter for his constant laziness and trotting around the court. That stops here.

Stefano Vecchio(19315008)
Drafted by toronto wolves and sold to Switzerlands division II has given this Italian-Canadian plenty of experience in big games. This bodes well for the JNT as Vecchio looks to be a key contributor. Vecchio looks to stand strong for his nation and fight like the true italian warrior he is.

Candrapada Venkatesh(19313726)
Drafted by las angolas and then bought off of free agency to a div IV team in Turkey has allowed this guy to flourish. After sneaking onto the plane to Mexico last season Venkatesh is here legally this time and is the second candidate for name of the season.

Curtis Worley(19313993)
Definitely deserving of his own post. Drafted and Developed by Fundamentally Sound, Worley will be the centerpiece this season and looks to be the heart and soul of this team. We are expecting big things of Worley. As he continues in the footsteps of greats like, Christopher Moran, Glenn Richards, David Castro and Duncan Arsenault. Last season he played in two games and showed that he belonged. He hopes to continue that this season.

Facts:
- 4 players Drafted and developed
- 6 players in Canada, 1 in Turkey, 1 in France, 1 in USA, 1 in Latvija, and 1 in Swizerland
- 11 players: 4 big men, 2 SF, 5 guards.
- 1 ATG, 3 MVPs, 3 Superstars, 2 p.allstars, 2 allstars.
- Team is not as strong as we have been in recent memory, but we can still make some noise. Repechage will be challenging with Hong Kong and France in our group.

Here is to a great Season 19! :)

So Worley is now on the market. His skills look awesome for a 21 year old, FS did a fantastic job training him.

I hope a Canadian manager with deep pockets grabs him as he'll be on the National team in no time.
