Hi all,

What do you think about the way private leagues can be formed ?

It's almost impossible to find 3 teams to send a PL invitation, not to mention finding 3 teams which will accept the invitation.
I think the game should offer a specialized functionality to search for supporter teams who are available for a PL invitation. It is inexcusable to expect the user, who paid for the feature, to start searching blindly between hundreds of teams for at least 3 available teams to join PL.

"To invite a team, simply go to its home page and click on the "Invite" button located below the press blog."
-Are you kidding me ? Am I supposed to go to 2000 team's home pages to find 3 available ones ?

I also searched for a solution on the forum, by all I found were some threads where each player could advertise for its private league, but to few users post their availability on the forum, and some posts are just too old, or their supporter membership will expire soon.

I work in the software development field and a feature like this should have been implemented by now, it's just another search criterion that should be added to the user search. I was very disappointed after I bought the supporter and struggled for a half an hour and didn't find even a team which I could send the invitation to. I hope there is another way of doing this.

Sorry to say, but the private league functionality is useless without this search feature.

While the PL feature is advertised mainly as a chance to play against your friends, a search tool would definitely be useful. When organizing a league blindly (not knowing the other people), you even need a way to filter out those Supporters whose Supporter package runs out before the league is finished. That is a lot of manual work for the organizer that could be avoided. You could have options like time-zone preferences, "join any league upon request", etc. for all Supporters who are out of PL's to aid the search.

Currently, your best chance is to try federations and PL threads in public forums. You may not be able to find teams in 30 minutes, but organizing a small league (or participating in a league someone else is organizing) should not take more than a couple of days.

Maybe you can code it and give it to the community for free?

Basically it will probably be easy to code.
The scrimmage search tool may be the base code for that, and instead of testing whether a team already been scheduled to scrimmage, they need to test other factors (is this team is a supporter, can it be invited to PL, etc.).

I agree with you, although I'm not (yet?) a supporter.

Have you tried joining a federation? It´s rather easy to gather a bunch of people with "some" connection to each other, and federations are great places to find those (as they are all supporters anyways).

We had 48 teams in our PL last season and had to turn several away. It is really just a matter of advertising, persistance and organisation.

but overall i think the change would be great, and there are also teams who likes to play everytime new teams.
