actually he was gonna play for taiwen but was injured so he didnt he was selected in there team and all

He means play for the national team, but Lin's the son of immigrants and is eligible to play for the Taiwan national team and this argument is stupid

he is really a great story he got no athletik scholarship for the college, was undraftet in the NBA and then become a borderline NBA player with few minutes and responsibility. And now he make some games like an NBA star, nice cinderalla story.

But for me he isn't chinese/taiwanese since he raised and lived in america all the time, and lacks in the chinese language(for the same reason i wouldn't consider Kaman as german even when he is closer and at least understands mandarin)
