Still the greatest basketball video game ever made. Can anybody recommend a recent game that comes close? Otherwise I'm just going to have to cave in and get proper controllers to go with my SNES emulator. (Really, I should probably do that anyway....)

To me the best basketball video game ever made is Street Basket: Ganbare Dunk Heroes (熱血！すとりーとバスケット ～がんばれＤｕｎｋＨｅｒｏｅｓ～). You can play basketball AND release your frustration at the same time.

You have the new and improved NBA Jam. It's actually a good game and pretty cheap.

There is NBA 2k12?

Yeah there is a remake of NBA Jam for the PS and the XBox, I never played it, but it shall be great.
