not sure if this is a bug - my arena is only 50% filled and it's the first game of the season. Some of the other teams with about the same size and prices have 80-90% filled.

Not saying it's a bug, but it makes playing this game a bit ridiculous from an economy standpoint for me. Any chance to provide some insight?

Like BigB said you relegated last season...I was in same position last season, and drop in attendance is very hard even my prices were low...and belive me, you not gonna recover whole season, i won all 22 games and still must have low prices, fans dont forget relegation that easy

2 points:
1) i look at the other teams that relegated. I understand what you are saying but compare their prices, attendance and income. still does not add up on a relative basis.
2) relegating should put a team into the middle of the pack in terms of income, not at the bottom

let's see how the next games go, but if this becomes a crazy situation then it's easy decision: why waste time of something unexplainable and not enjoyable.

using the attendance helper on the USA offsite, it looks like your prices are a tad high for D2, even if you were in the middle of the pack for attracting fans. And as you relegated, your attendance is obviously lower than average. But I would assume that the relegation penalty only lasts the first half or 2/3 of the season (similar to the promotion bonus on attendance).

Any way you slice it, those folks who have demoted from NBBA have had to take pretty strong measures to cut salary. Rambo and namssor being obvious examples.

And I'm sure it sucks a big rocket, but I personally agree with the aim of teh promotion and relegation effects on attendance. Overall they are there to help promoting teams have a fighting chance to stay in their new league; on the other side, the relegation penalty helps prevent the situation where the relegatee is inevitably promoted right back after just one season. I've played in manager games where there isn't such a thing, and to me that really feels like a waste of time and unenjoyable.
