As a GM requested that a discussion will be kept on the subject, here is a new one.

1) Publicizing the NT election;
Having a page that displays all NT that does not yet have any candidates at the top of the page, and then those with a single candidate, and so on.
That will make more users willing to set themselves as candidates.

2) Auto-voting by the candidates;
There is no sense of allowing to vote to anyone but yourself, in case being one of the candidates.
So, any candidate will set is vote automatically to himself.

3) Preferring local NT coach on a tie election;
In case that there are several users with the same number of votes, and one of those candidates is a local user, he will get the NT coaching position.

4) Re-election after NT coach leaving the game;
In case a user, that had been NT coach, leaves the game, a message will be sent (via News page or BB-mail) to all users, and a short election will be held for coaching that NT.

5) Addressing experience issue;
In case of a tie although the above tie breaker between local user and foreign, the next tie breaker will be upon experience.
The last tie breaker will be upon the time the candidating had been set.
A limitation may be set for the minimum experience needed for an NT coaching.
In case there will not be any user above that amount of experience as a candidate, the most experience candidate will set the minimum age for current election.

So even if the local user has 10 days or 1 month in the game he will get the NT position instead of a foreign user who has 1000 days in the game?
Of course i don't agree with this and i like better the current system in such cases!

And, he also has got 1 vote more, as he can not vote for himself.

south africa would be better of if they had another candidate who just joined to be a replacement and hoped for a random voter and the elect the guy which he believes is the right guy.

About 1 i doubt that this would be good, some of the small nations are already annoyed by the big amount of people who are unconnected to the country and low experience and knowledge about the nt buissness.

Didn't understood what you are claiming for or against...

And still, having a coach is better than not having one...
It is not that currently a foreign user cannot put himself as candidate for an NT position.

Some will prefer having locals, while others will prefer having a more experienced one.
Another option is setting a minimum experience limitation to all of the points I've brought at the head of this thread.

Of course i don't agree with this and i like better the current system in such cases!

You are totally wrong, and totally right at the same comment...

You are right - currently, a foreign user cannot set a vote for himself, while the local newbie can.
On my suggestion, the foreign has a automatic one vote. His own vote.

And you are wrong, as you claimed the opposite - that my suggestion prefers (more than current system) the local user even if he has less experience than the foreign one.

And again, the experience issue is another point that can be addressed directly, and I've done that on my previous message here (not at the main message), and as nothing to do with the main message.

I don't think so that someone want a 10 days player as his NT!Such a player don't know the basics for the game!

But with the current system as you know (????) in a tie election the older player will get the the NT coaching position and i think that is more fair than to set this only by the nationality without considering how long the local candidate is in the game!

But that foreign user will have one less vote on current system.........!

This is not because there has not been candidates, but because all the candidates disappeared. The problem of lack of NT coach could be managed if there is mid-term election, but this is upon the BB and not anyone of us. We cannot know if this easy to launch or not and we cannot state it is.
