The training and money aspects of this game are crazy!

MONEY: Obviously the guy programming the money aspects has not had input from an actual financial person. You don't move up and then not be able to fill your stadium especially if you have less than the average size arena of the teams in the higher league. That would be like a AAA baseball team becoming a major league team and then not being able to sell out it's 10,000 seat stadium on top of not being able to increase it's ticket prices. How are you supposed to compete if you can't increase your revenues. Same goes if you get relegated - you are going to make less money because you went from the majors to the minors. Simple stuff! Also, for those of us that do scrimmage weekly we should get paid for that. I don't care if it is a $1 per ticket plus some concession sales but we should get a small bump since we are more involved in playing the game. ALSO, trainers shouldn't get a bump per week (or one this big), that is beyond crazy. I know they are trying to promote more movement and manager involvment but there has to be a better way to do this.

TRAINING: 5 trainings to get a bump in inside defense. Seriously! Seriously! One of the more enjoyable parts of this game is training yet it get's old when it takes forever to get a bump. It quite simply shouldn't take this long to get a bump. The guy was 25 when I first started, just turned 26 so it isn't like he is an ancient artifact!

On a statistics note it would be nice to see what my opponents averages are against me. Am I averaging 51 rebounds per game and my opponent 54, am I shooting .467 while my opponents are shooting .435. It would be nice to know and all they would have to do is add a line item under team stats for opponent totals. Would help with strategy as well. Also, I'd love to see my players stats totaled for the year and a drop down for career. Kind of like a basketball card. That would be cool, if you are a stat geek like myself!

I still like the game overall but some aspects need some reprogramming! I know the guys are doing what they can but I'd love to see the above addressed before things like adding another offensive strategy that no one knows how to use correctly!

Sounds like you are looking for a game that requires, little strategy, easy advancement, and minimal thought on your part. May I suggest Farmville?

I love the strategy of this game which is the only reason I play it. If I didn't like the strategy I'd play an online game in which there was actual game play happening right in front of me versus line items of what is going on in a fake basketball game. The only reason anyone should be playing this game is because of the strategy unless you play to collect pretty flags which is probably what you are doing! What I'd prefer is more realism and some additional information (the stat lines I mentioned) or benefits for additional play (money for scrimmages) to use when strategizing or playing this game. You obviously had a hard time comprehending my message, maybe you should look up Farmville.

Oh, I see you want to be rewarded for not managing your team correctly. Kinda like the bail outs that this country had a few years ago. Well let me help you with some additional information that might make your playing experience a little more realistic.

1.) If you want to get major league money from your ticket sales upgrade your minor league stadium. Seriously? You have been in this game for over 7 seasons and your arena doesn't even have 6,000 seats in it?

2.) Don't sit in the same division and keep losing to the same teams over and over again. Trust me your fans get bored of that.

You see you are suffering from this game being too realistic. If you put a bad product out there, you get bad returns.

You leave out a lot of details. My 23y old SG didn't pop for four straight weeks in JR, so what? He's not that young, 193cm tall and JR trains slowly.

How tall is the player? We also need to know what are his inside skills to see if there's any negative elastic effect there. What trainer are you using? Are you doing 1 or 2 position training? You can't just say "5 trainings for a pop!" without any details except for his age. 25 trains pretty slow.

The attendance boost for newly promoted teams is real and substantial. It's not a guarantee of selling every single seat at any given price, but you can certainly improve your attendance income significantly when you promote. But the game does require you to sell 10000 seats in a 6000 seat stadium, nor does it automatically resize the arena when you promote.

When I started this game I breezed through V like the teams weren't there. I believe I have made the playoffs in every year but maybe one in my new division. That isn't a bad product. See #2 below.

2) When you bump up and can't sell out your stadium or compete financially with teams that have been in the league for years that started out better than you how exactly are you supposed to overcome them? I am essentially the third best team in my league. The reason I can't pass the two guys ahead of me is because they were better when I entered the league, they have a financial advantage for some unknown reason and they train as much as I do. It is like a waiting game. I need them to move on because they are doing the same things I am which means I'll never pass them up. Yes, the crap teams are easy to pass up and when I came into this division I quickly became a playoff team and entrenched myself as an annual playoff contender. (Thanks for the great advice again, you are of great help!)

3) My product is a playoff contendor year in and year out and I made more money from jersey/concession sales when I was in a lower division. That makes NO SENSE WHAT SO EVER!! Tell me how that works!

Inside shot - Proficient
Inside Def - Proficient
Rebound - Prominent
Shot Block - Strong

There should be no negative elastic effect. My trainer is one below the highest level. 2 position training. Sorry for leaving out the details.

Based on experience the net effect is some small positive number. However, I think there is a soft cap of 20000 seats so you just need to find the best price and capacity combination. :)

I haven't been blessed with this "substantial" boost. Am I making more money than my prior division? Yes, but it isn't significant. I make the playoffs yearly and I am middle of the road or just below the league average for game income. When I increase capacity I have to reduce ticket prices to fill the seats. The net effect is zero or not much gain. I would have thought after the bump it would have been "substantial" and I certainly thought after making the playoffs on an annual basis I'd have no problem filling my small stadium and being able to expand. No reason to expand if you can't fill the seats. I have lowered my prices since division V. That makes no sense. That would be like a AAA teams ticket prices being less then the bigs - that doesn't happen.

In my crazy mind it would make more sense when I bump up that whatever I was selling my tickets for in Division V that I would be able to get let's say 20% more in the higher division. (That is less than baseball in real life for instance.) I would also have thought that I'd be able to expand aggressively and still make the 20% increase up to a certain seat count in expansion. So for instance let's say I have 6k seats in V, move up, increase ticket prices by 20% and then expand by another 2k without a problem selling tickets. From that point it would depend on results to sell more at the same price. Some scenario like this is what I am talking about.
