Season seven regular season is over and there are still a lot of issues. The first is what structure we would like for season eight and the second is who is coming back. As always I welcome those that have made a contribution to the league to return.

These are the options from the poll explained.

1) Two leagues of 16 teams. They would be equal standard as they are in the West and East now. This would be a slight reduction in numbers from 36 to 32. It would be a much longer season and would get us back aligned with the normal seasons much better.

2) Same as this season. Simple.

3) Same as this season but delayed start. Not starting until the first week of next season would make things a lot neater, PL games over the finals/offseason are often rubbish. An ideal model would see a 12 team league with 11 week regular season and then top 8 finals that all ran at the same time as the 14 week regular season.

4) Radical contraction. Two equal leagues of 12. Bots, tankers and disinterested teams aren't improving the PL experience for those that do care.

5) Option I forgot. To be fillid in later.

Obviously this can all depend on how many teams are coming back for another season. I discussed this with Xerxes. He is in another "random" league. For all the MANY problems of the Fishbowl it is still much better than a random PL. It is like mastabation compared to real sex. It is something, but not something that you get excited about and look forward to...well I hope not.

Dreamers would love to be back, but Baby no.2 is due around the time this season finishes, so next season i will probably be less active, not inactive, but less :P

I'll be back too. And heavily in favour of a delayed start :)
