Having had a look at your league, your roster and their potential, I'm sorry to say that it is extremely likely that you will relegate to Div IV at the end of this season. Learn how the game works (read the game manual and ask questions in the forum) and you will have a great chance of promoting back in Season 21. Good luck,

You can easily pass North Brisbane Dragons and KobeRishi but even if you do you will be in trouble in the relegation series. So if I was you I would tank like crazy and relegate to division IV and get a great draft pick.

Hey guys,

For this past season I have been trying to "tank" to the best of my ability, seen as though I was a new crap team. I didn't buy any players, didn't invest in staff and built up my arena as much as possible. Then I got lucky, I ended up drawing Koala Bears (a newly created team) in the relegation series. So I decided to buy what I thought was just enough talent to win the series. Btw at the time I only had 100k and time was running out on players that were still eligible for the playoffs! So I thought that was a small smart move by me to not relegate to div 4.

However now I am not sure what to do. I am likely going to draft a small (pg or sg) so he is going to be my training focus. But besides that I don't know what to do next. Can the Australian community please give me some direction?

Thanks

Great work surviving. I can tell you how to win my way, but I need to know what way you want to win. Some like to train, some to daytrade in players, some to go all out to win now, some like to build a team that will take a while to develop but then will be dominant. How do you want to do about it? The most important thing is if you want to train next week is the best week of the season to pick up three great trainees that can one day take you to the ABBL.

Preferably i would like to build a team around young Aussie talent and fill in the gaps with veteran Australian players. Im not sure if I'll have enough money next week as i only have 140k at the moment And making about 90k a week. Also, I have just recently purchased a level 4 trainer in preparation for next season. His wage is 12k so I'm happy i got him for less than 5k

Only trouble is there are a lot of us that think that way and they don't seem to in the US or Europe. Last season there was less than a dozen good young Aussie draft picks put up for sale in draft week. A lot of people keep them even if they end up not training them, as I confess I have done a little myself this season.

Okay, so then what would you suggest? I really don't have much of an idea on what would be the right direction to pursue next season so any pointers you have would help. What would you do if you were controlling my team?

1) Draft a superstud.
2) Buy two amazing 19 year olds (they are so undervalued it is criminal) with great height and potential hopefully one Aussie.
3) Tank the season aiming for 7th (if possible 15th best record) and making a ton of money.
4) Train all three players mainly in OD or PA for the whole season (some JS or one on one in two game weeks).
5) Draft another superstud at the end of the season.
6) Sell the second superstud for a fortune.
7) Buy some real ballers in the Forward and C positions and win your division.
