I would probably go for the first one, because he can be trained as an SG/PG even though hes a bit tall, it wont really effect it that much, also if he has good inside skills he can be a great SF as he is just the perfect height. Although the second one can possibly have great all around skills and be a PF/SF, with his height it will take long to do the guard skills for him to become an SF so he will probably end up as a PF.
Go with the first one I say!

2 decent looking prospects here.

The 6'6" guy will likely have a higher starting salary which often means better starting skills. Some will complain that he'll train slower because of his height (At either center or guard) but since people are now looking for more well-rounded players, having a mid-sized guy like this suddenly isn't a bad thing as you'll be able to train him at all skills.

On the other hand, the 7-footer is liisted as a SF which means he probably already has some decent starting guard skills. This is a huge plus.

I'd go with the 6'6" guy but I could be in the minority.

As a guard trainer I would go for the guard, they get alot more money in the transfer market. It depends what current trainees you have as of now?

I wouldnt go for 2nd one because its probably gona be like 7js 5jr and 7 id or reb guy.
Have drafted A- sf last year, he only had 28 skillpoints:D personally i dont ever want to go at draft for sf anymore now.

A+grade rating can give you the chance for a player with a great skill set. A grade rating guarantees a mediocre one at best.

Also, a lot of SFs tend to have high salaries because their rebounding/JS is high, but there's no guarantee on everything else. So you could get a guy with 1 IS, which on a 7-footer who's definitely a PF/C trainee is a definite negative.

I would definitely go with the first guy, especially if he has any assists and/or a low number of TOs in his box score (the one risk of drafting a SG: they might have really low HA and/or passing).

get excited... but not too excited! there is a lot of skill variation in what 5/5 will look like and some will be a lot more attractive than others.
Finding guys like this is only half the story. You still have to win the lottery and you will only know if you have when they turn up in your gym with their shiny new trainers on...

u cant go wrong there so really the question is simple

both guys look killer but could still be duds if their skills r in the wrong place or they r 2 aggressive

eg 7' sf has atrocious IS
6'6 sg has atrocious OD

do u want 2 train guards or big men?

pick 1 put him first & the other 2nd

id probably save the rest of ur scouting points cause what is the chance u find someone better?

(please every1 dont encourage a noob to kill his team by getting him 2 train sfs, he can always cross train in a few seasons if he needs 2)

IDK why I put this here, but I was so happy scouting a HoF potential PG. My rival got it. Wisconsin Windjammers. Instead,I got a 4k Pern. Allstar PG and sold him fora godo 650k. I Boosted my team in teh gaurd position.

If this is only decent, what do you expect from a prospect to call him great? I mean, it doesn't get better than 5/5 A+...

I guess great for him would mean better height.
