Buy a couple of veteran players like a PF and a SF with 18k and down salaries to help you start winning and then buy trainees, don't worry about your arena untill you have a team established and are winning the fans won't come anyways and also fire your crappy players as they just eat up pay roll money

Which all of them lol. I knew that but thanks for the other advice. I agree with that because guard trainees are easier. I am going to try and sell one player because even though he is 21 he is a HoF potential, I figure I might sucker someone into buying him.

Since I'm already in IV will I never get a bonus for promoting back into IV?

I would advise the opposite than the first answer.

Start already to build your arena. Bought some trainees, not a lot, season's end is near, so you'll better off waiting for your own draft and the next generation just after the draft. No need to jump onto old veteran with high salaries, you have good chances to be demoted at the end of the season and next season opposition will not be that hard while incomes will not be that high.

When and if you get back in D4, you'll receive the bonus for promotion.

So my advice, take it easy during this season, wait for the next one, start building your arena, reduce your costs.

Absolutely. In the long term, if your ambition is to make it to the upper levels, you'll need an arena suitable for that. Whether you buy the seats now or later, barring a change in the game, it will cost the same amount of money overall, but the sooner you buy them, the sooner you can start repaying the investment. Which is not to say that one should jump to a 20k arena as soon as possible, but definitely one should prioritize the arena investment over buying players that will play a few seasons and sold/retired at a loss.

Whoa! I'd only get one high vet at the start of the season, so the prices are smaller. Then, get some cheap vets. I did that and now they are a pretty good fit in my team. Then, get two good trainees with (if you have any) the others from the draft.......make sure that they're abbout the same position, because training is hard these days. Try and buy only two positions (scoring=PG,SG, all-around player=SF inside=PF dunkin=C) THen build your arena. But get the players to win SO YOU can build your arena. DO both.

Ok, 300k + four $ bonuses= 500k ( after a month.) Wait to do anything! Let yourself grow $ If you do that you'll be about 650-700k. Got it. Wait till the offseason. YOu could get 2 or maybe even 3 big guys with 15-20k. Build your arena. THen, at the snap of the fingers, you'll be a contender.

Great advice, here's a +1,I might add the importance of getting guard trainees, and if your going to have a big men themed team you can train guards faster and get more money when you sell them enabling you to get more bigs.
