something strange just happened on the transfers page.. i bid on a player (4500450) whose auction should have ended at 19:07, but after refreshing the page, the time suddenly got extended to 20:35 (all times GMT+3).. how is that possible?

Yes it was due to server downtime. The players which were affected had been moved so they wouldn't be transfered during the downtime.
