I came 4th in my side of the division, and my fans were pretty hapy about it (4 ball), so I was kinda surprised. I then played st position in the playoffs, and beat him! so pretty happy about that, but now my fans have decided to be unhappy about my performance this season (2.5 ball).

This is what is says on my fan survey page:


I am pleased with the team's performance last season: 3

I am pleased with the team's performance this season: 2.5

The team had a good run in the cup this year: 4

The team played well in our last league game: 5

The team played well the last time they were on TV: 5

The team played well in our last game against Chicago ballers, our hated rival: 5

I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred: 1

The team manager is working hard to improve the team: 5

All things considered, I am happy with the direction the team is going in: 4



This doesn't make much sence seeing as I beat 1st position in the playoffs, and my performance this season happiness went down by 1.5.

I sold a player that had been in my team for a while, so that is why I have a 1 ball up there, and replaced him, hence the 5 for the improvement, so that makes sense, but why would I lose performance happiness for getting further into the playoffs? I beat the unbeaten team in my whole league, yet they are not happy that I am in the semi finals of the playoffs? How do we please the fans?!?

Any insight into this would be useful, but in the end it isn't too important, as long as I perform!

Fans are tough to please. I'm 22-0, and sometimes my fans aren't pleased enough to give me 5 stars for this season's performance. Also, after having a steady lineup all season long, and getting my familiarity with star players rating up to 2, I picked up one new player and it immediately plummeted to 0.5, and I didn't even cut anyone. My merchandising also fell a couple hundred bucks a week after climbing by a couple hundred each week throughout the season. $100 here or there won't break the bank, so like you say, it's not too important, but dang these fans are sensitive.

Nice job on taking out your division leader in the playoffs! That's got to feel good.

The individual questions aren't really important. Only the last question really matters. "All things considered, I am happy with the direction the team is going in: 4"

Anyway, I wouldn't put too much into it. The fans are impossible to please. I wrote something about that recently:

Yes, my fan survey actually dropped 2 balls the night I won a championship!

Thanks for the posts guys, helps to understand that it is just annoying for everyone.

And yeah, thanks, feels pretty great to have taken out the division leader, especially how he hasn't lost a game all season!

Will buy an upgrade to my SF for next season maybe and try to be a title challenger. With a good C, PG and SF, and an alright PF and SG, should do pretty well but if I get promoted, I will do the same, but not be a title challenger, more like i will try to stay up.

Thanks again for the 'fans suck basketballs' and 'in the end, it is total happiness that counts' words of wisdom. I guess i should just ignore the rest, as long as I do well in my games, should be alright

i believe on top of the survey there is also a explanation for the variance, so i guess you pick easy satisfied fans the first time and hard to satisfy the second time.

Yeah. Silly fans. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be happy, but oh well, I have 4 ball total happiness so kinda worked out.

Hopefully will have a high 'the team performed well last season' one next season, as i may beat the team in the semi finals. But doubt I wil get further than the finals. But I will see

Thanks for the explanation, but I also suppose it is difficult for it all to work perfectly. There are going to be some odd things that occur here and there
