I am in the championship right now for my V. league and will most likely win but just in case i don't due to a injury to one of my star players or something wacky like that what my chances of promoting through bot cleanup?

My standings look like this:

21-1

PD: +788

So what do you think? Thanks in advance

You should win asily. But just in case, if you have great backups, start em so that you don't risk injuring them. I have a suggestion, one game 1, start your backup for th best player on your team, or last best. Or just start all your players and steamroll to D4. Your choice.

Sorry but I don't like the advice you're getting in the post above.

Play your best lineup in game 1 (consider a dedicated backup for each starter if you're deep enough) and play Playoff Crunch. Make sure you win this game.

In game 2, pick the 3 worst players on your roster (and only 3), play them 48 minutes each and play Playoff Normal, Leave the other 2 spots in your lineup blank. You will get crushed but this will improve enthusiasm and avoid injuries to your best players for the 3rd game.

Game 3, repeat what you did game 1.

By taking this series to game 3 you're also gaining an extra game of playoff income.

I am also wondering about the chances of promoting out of D V USA with a 21-1 record (+758). I am in a similar position to OP except that my opponent is stronger (20-2 +690) and my second highest salary player is injured. Still, I have a good enthusiasm advantage and enough depth to overcome the injury, and I would put my odds of winning the first game at around 75-25.

My tentative plan is to wait and see how the first game goes, and if I win by a comfortable margin (15+ ?), then I will throw the second game. However if my promotion is pretty much guaranteed based on record, it might be worth throwing the second game with a narrower margin of victory in the first.

It might be worth noting that I already have 600k saved for next season (before promotion bonus and finals revenue) so the extra money won't make a big difference, and getting promoted is a much larger priority.
