A worthy winner. Very hard to define a 6th man in this game. Takayoshi Kawagichi is a 13k 20 year old so no way is he a real starter. But because of training pressures he had to play 48+ at least once a week. To me he is a 6th man. Way behind your guy and probably a dozen others I still feel proud that a 13k 20 year old can play in the JBBL and average 12.3 PPG, 4.6 RPG and 7.1 APG (3rd best in the whole JBBL). FG % was only 41% and we all know how the coaching staff cringes when he takes a 3, but 7.1 APG to 1.5 TPG is a great ratio and nearly a steal per game (0.9) makes him my nomination.

Nominee #2, Kyoto Shogun, Takayoshi Kawagichi.

But Alpar Goncz is better.

Hopefully this isn't as bad as the MVP voting where Avi Pollak the best player on a bad team was able to pad his stats all season and steal the award away from much better players like Siim Kriisk, Mathias Budiarso, Luis Túpac Yupanqui, Chihiro Okita or Selman Solum. If you had to win g3 of the finals tomorrow and could choose any 1 player from that list tell me you would take Avi above those others. Stupid MVP voters.
