Regardless of your and opponents' tactics, if you're down by two possessions with about a minute and a half to go in a game, your players start jacking up 3s, and foul. This is not only unnecessary, it just loses the game for you.
It would be helpful to have an option of how to handle last minute or two on the tactics page.
Or at least change GE, so it corresponds with the tactic one plays. It's very boring that every team does the same chuck'n'foul routine.
Or at least change it, so this process starts with 30 secs to go not 100!

seems like a great idea but this would give the advantage to the managers that are watching the game. people dont always have time to check upon the game :)

Another suggestion about fouls during final seconds.
Yesterday I lost my game after I was leading by 5 points with 4 seconds left, and 3 points with 1 second left.http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/46125417/reportmatch.as...
I don't want to question my defeat, but I think that a strict leading team, when there are few seconds left, doesn't usually want to let the others make 3pt shots, and so they usually foul (especially in my case, where I didn't reach even the bonus, so a foul in this situation would have been surely made to avoid a painful 3pt buzzerbeater.
So, for example, I'd like that, if there are few seconds left (<10, or <20, for example) and the leading team is leading by a number between 3 and 6, the leading team makes delibertely foul to avoid 3pt shots, as the losing team usually does.

Even at high levels you often miss that crucial foul before the opponents three ... ask us Germans and don´t mention "Turkey" when doing it ...

I agree but I still think the game engine should use some fine tuning for last second plays.
The game should react with better logic to some situations.

I understand, but I think the leading team should however try to block them before that. If even with this choice the others are faster, they deserve to make the shot, but, if I well remember, I've never seen the GE follow this kind of tactics.

Honestly - I´ve won games when I got the D-Rebound with 0:01 left on the clock and connected on the shot within time without calling a Timeout or shooting a three. Last second´s game engine is horrible at times. Just not the mentioned example ;)

Yes, they told me about such finals in BB Italy. :)
I suppose it would be fair that, if they decide to fix the last seconds, all these issues will be properly faced, mine , yours and any other known :)
