Thought I would do a draft report by team. Feel free to shout at me if I missed anyone.
Great 8

Charleston Chuckers- Robby Taylor- 6'7" Star SG 5.8k
Not bad, shame about the low pot.

Duluth Dirty Dogs- Randell Shultis- 6'8" Superstar PG 2.5k
Not bad, shame about starting skills though.

Hell's Kitchen- Dan Ptak- 6'11" PA C 3.5k
Pretty good, fairly low salary though.

LA Revolution- Jeremiah Kazim- 6'11" MVP C 5.5k
Nice looking player, I'm very jealous.
Brad Adler- 6'5" PA PG 3.3k
Not too bad, could turn out pretty good.

Meskos Letena- No one worth noting.

Senecaville Bombers- No one worth noting

Super Sonics- Rod Pritchard- 19 YO 6'4" Superstar PG 4.5k
Not awful, shame about the age though

Tonasket Kappas- Henry Williams- 19 YO 6'1" HoF PG 4.2k
Shame about age, otherwise, pretty good draftee.
William Fleming- 19 YO 7'0" PA 4.7k

Will do Big 8 in a bit.

Yeah that's a solid player thegame, hope he trains him good, but not for a few seasons ;)
Sorry this took so long I had to go somewhere with my family.
Big 8

Bunny Humpers- No one worth note

Chicago Storm- No one worth note

CleanXMen- A player I can't talk about due to the fact he's for sale, but looks okay.

Kansas City Tigers- No one worth note

Lazy Lamchops- Byron Thomas- 6'9" PA SG 3.9k
I kinda like him. He has some holes, but he's not that bad
Marcus Hacker- 6'10" MVP PF 2.7k
He's okay, I like his pot, but he has a lot of holes. Might be hitting the TL soon if anyone's interested.

Lebron Slam Down- Lamont Barker- 6'5" SS C 2.7k
Danny Brenes- 6'7" PA C 1.9k
Both pretty good
Pot, but pretty low salaries

SA Hitch-a-nators- Daniel Kauffman- 19 YO 6'6" HoF SG 4.7k
Looks very nice, except for the age

Slatington Serpents- Rex Moore- 19 YO 6'10" Allstar PF 3.5 k
Not awful, shame about age and pot

All in all, a pretty average draft. Not too bad but there is a lot of higher potential low salaried players in this draft. It looks like we've either got a lot of training to do, or a lot of selling to do.
Best player is probably La Revolution's Jeremiah Kazim. Good luck training your prospects (or selling them).

Whatsup folks. LA Revolution checkin' in ....lookin' to loot our way to a 2nd IV division championship in 3 seasons.

LA Revolution Draft Summary:
#1 overall pick Jeremiah Kazim is a raw but talented inside scorer
2nd round pick Brad Adler has the perfect traditional point guard build.
3rd round pick Ernesto Fonseca is Brad Adler with no J.

Overall the team is very happy with all 3 draft picks.

Good luck everyone.

I will sell my guy most likely. I am going to be training inside players so he will get no training with me. I have not had a good draft in many years. How much do people put into scouting on a weekly basis?

I am starting to think I should put zero into scouting. It doesnt seem like I get anything worth training with putting money into scouting.

Good idea and thanks for the leg work. Two things about Robby.

He is 19 and not my draftee.

His low (star) potential is what attracted me to him.

I have a different methodology to team building than is commonly thought. I want to train ALL of my players and have a well rouded, versatile team. I am willing to parlay early success with the promise of winning with a team I build from the ground up.

I can't afford (in terms of money and building a sustainable team) 50-100k monsters just yet. The first player I have to hit 50k salary will be a PG/SG/SF scoring threat that I will purchase in season 23 and build over the next 2-3 seasons..

Robby will be a fantastic swing SF/PF that will cap around 20k. He will have the ability to step out on 3s and bang with 4s. Basically a limited version of what Shepherd was going to be before his injuries and my lapse. Shepherd is now Shane Battier spliced with Carlos Boozer.
