How much should I spend on a decent trainer and weekly salary I should expect to pay? How important are the trainers in this game?

i think that a lvl 4 trainer would be good for you.u should get a good one with salary in the range of 12-14k well within 50k...if possible try to get one with massage specialty
trainers are really important cuz without them u cant train ur players.

I think there are a lot of misconceptions about the best way to train when you first start off in this game. Let me offer you a different perspective from the post above me.

First off, if you are paying 13k salary a week for a trainer, you are paying about 130k+ more over a season than you would pay for the default trainer. This means in order to be worth it, the trainer would have to be adding about 130k in market value to your players more than the default trainer would.

According to the BB croudsourcing training project, the difference between a level 4 and level 6 trainer is only around 5%. I think it stands to reason then that the difference between level 1 and level 4 is less than 15% (anecdotally I couldn't tell the difference). I think it is quite unlikely that 15% faster training for a player in a V league is going to be worth 130k.

My advice: stick to the default trainer until you are confident you have a training plan where 10-15% faster training is going to add at least 130k extra value to your trainees.

Ok so think that buying a higher trainer is useless unless he can add value to your player's value.
So how about this-u buy an advanced trainer having 13k salary for 50k and u use him to train your players for 3 seasons. So u would be paying somewhere about 450k more than the basic trainer.but then by that time your player would have had at least 25 pops.
Let's say he was a big man with all skills at average so at the end of 3 seasons he would have a skill set of all sensationals.i think that a 21 y.o wih such skills can easily fetch u above 500k plus he would win u matches in lower divisions with his skills.so I don't see any loss in such kinda deal.and if u train a guard then he will fetch u much more price at the market.
I am not saying that monoskilled players should be trained but I am just giving u another scenario.

Where's this project? Why do people pay more than a mil. for a level 6 trainer?

5%? .... So, 1 extra pop for every 20 pops. That sounds like it could be pretty substantial over a period of time.

That pop costs 1 million (300 000 salary + 700 000 price). Are you serious? It's gotta be more than 5%!
Why would anyone train at all if that's the fact? For an extra mil. you get a player with quite a few more pops than one.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

You're only training 1 player at a time? No wonder you feel its a waste... even single position training you should be training 2 or 3 guys.
