I have some players that have the "not eligible for playoffs" status. This early in the season, is this possible? Or is there some kind of bug because the new season just started?

I think it may be a glitch. It may be updted and not say that when the first finanicial update is made/or the first standings update is made. Nothing to worry about. You're players will be able to play in the playoffs this year. (if you make it)
