As it is now, high stamina is a bad thing:
A player with 7-9 stamina simply cannot play 2 games as a starter because the coaches will play him too much in a game (usually for more that 40 min'), and then after 2 games he will pass the 80 min' mark and his game shape will probably fall.
And my question is: Do you think this makes sense?
I think not, having a good opener with high stamina should be a beneficial thing not a punishment - he should play as lower-stamina (4-6) player, something like 36-38 min' (yeah, he can even sometimes play more than other because his stamina - do get to touchy on the numbers PLEASE) a game (72-76 a week) but with the plus of being less tired in the last section of each game.
My suggestion is that the stamina effect on the coach's decision will be altered a bit - sure, stamina should be taking into consideration with all other elements to whether on not should a player be substituted, but still the system should have a limit on how much grinding the coach can do to a player based on stamina alone.
Another suggestion, which exists in other browser basketball-manager games is that the user have an option to tell the coach how much to grind the starting 5. this can be an actual number (36,42...) that the coach will aim to keep (doesn't have to be exact) or a more general ladder with 5 (just for the example) different levels of grinding. it can be one for all the team or a personal ladder to each position - whatever, there are a lot of ways this can be done. this ladder will only add to the coach's calculations and not replace the current system completely.
