I have been unsuccessful for three weeks now in hiring a trainer. I have gone as high as 100k on the bid. What am I doing wrong? What does it take to hire a trainer with superior skill?

Apparently, more than 100k. (Though I got mine last season at 89k, but early season more people are needing to get trainers).

You might want to consider going for an advanced trainer instead, and making sure that it's not a very high salary guy.

Yeah, and this is a tough time to hire a trainer, as many teams have gotten new trainees, and are upgrading their trainers to account for that.

Level 4 trainer probably does the job very well, and then if you wait until the middle part of the season, you can find some better trainer bargains.

I got my superior trainer for as less as 30k, with a 40k salary. This is more then the 25k other trainers have, but I saved 250k+ on hiring him, so he will do well for at least a season.

EDIT: OOPS I DONT HAVE A SUPERIOR BUT AN EXCEPTIONAL TRAINER..

Really? I got a superior trainer last season with a ~23K salary for 50K. Not a great salary of course, but good enough.

Slacker. My guy that I've had over a month was only 88k and he's still only at 22k salary.

That's pretty standard for those willing to keep bidding
can get them even cheaper
it's when you start looking for superior and up that things can get pricier.
