Lots of pops today....Lord Toranaga gets the manager of the week award. a huge pop and then a great crosstraining pop. WOW!!!
And Isehara pistons getting the double D pop on Murata....I guess he was worth the money.

OK..Down to business....I got my 15 players(on the team)(kind of sucks I have to keep a guy not getting trained, Fumi's player) with 6 on the bubble players. The Enthusiam reset is tomorrow so no more dropping.
Hint: I am an O-Flow guy...so passing and handles are right up there with OD/ID with me..
I can tell you this...I could start three tremendous passers if I wanted. I am lucky that one of these passers has IS/ID/REB....so look out...The big game will be against New Zealand, that is the must win..I look forward to serving you guys.....Yellowcake

Then you must be loving Kawagichi right now as much as I am. I will probably be sticking with passing a bit more till he hits wondrous as my 3rd trainee hasn't popped yet and it is needed so I can feed Sonoda, Kouzuki and Whiteside in my league games.

SINGAPORE DODGES A BULLET

Singapore came into the game as a 22 point favorite but the upstart U-21 team from Nippon had other ideas. After keeping the game close in the 1st Q, Singapore's players started to look a little distraught. The players must have been thinking this was going to be a scrimmage or an easy game but as halftime rolled around and the team from Nippon was still hanging in there. The home team( Singapore is hosting the tournament) kept on grinding and finally took the lead up over 10 and lead at the end of the 3rd Q by 12 points. And then it happened.....At the 7:53 minute mark in the 4th and down by 14, Kawagichi started yelling at the bench,"Refuse to lose" Refuse to lose" and then soon after the crowd started in as Nippon came all the way back and even led the game with 20 seconds left on the clock. Even when the game went to OT and Singapore went on a 7-0 run...Nippon kept on fighting and even know it wasn't to be, mainly because of 21 missed FT's(12-33), the team left the gym on a high note.
They can compete with anybody!!!
Game ball.....very difficult but Amori was great down the stretch. Wakatsuki was huge. When Matsumoto fouled out, he kept on getting rebound after rebound. Kanausuku led all scorers and he wasn't even going to be the starter(Kentaro had bad GS).
My only mistake was using SIT THEM for foul trouble. When Amori left the game in the first half, Ikouga didn't play very well at all...6 T/Os and 7 missed FTs...So he gets the OUCH!! Award.
Stay tuned next week..

Ah so it wasn't a blank lineup? Cause some things did look a bit odd. But awesome work taking the #22 team at home to OT. What a great team we have this season!

Hell NO!!! I will not use a Blank Line up....And Ikouga is going to get demoted for his bad game...I had him backing up the PG and SG spots....Next game I will have Amori at PG and Kawagichi at SG and have Ikouga come in at SG and have Kawagichi slide into the PG spot..

I really wish we could have won that game against the host nation..But it wasn't to be...
Now I will be waiting for the POPs this Friday....Thanks Nippon Nation!!
