Now people build their arena to the caps and forget about it. It would be cool if there was some degradation in the seats maybe 0.1% of the seats randomly vanish every week. That would work out to a mean of 20 seats per week for a Div. I arena.

I'm not sure why you're being so hostile. If you're looking to justify it realistically, you can charge it up to arena maintenance - or are arenas in Malaysia built of space age titanium where the seats never break.

Things can be done in different ways and ideas which may sound stupid to you may not to other people. You could have expressed yourself in a much better way. Some people are always right. You are not one of them.
Anyway, no point in continuing a discussion if it is not done in good faith.

I had actually written that in the first message. The arena is the most static part of the game. Once one builds it, it is done and because there is an attendance cap there is no incentive to change anything. In a game that is not very realistic anyway, there are several ways to allow a more dynamic arena. One way is to allow the user to demolish parts of the arena and change the category of seats. This is often done in real arenas but may be difficult to implement here. Another way which I would think is easier to code is to artificially age certain seats. Say 100 bleachers are removed and you can make up whatever reason you want. The player then has the choice to build 100 lower tier instead.

The first way would be better, since it actually gives the users freedom of choice to have a dynamic or static arena. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but you can actually demolish your own seats in BB. Not sure how many people know of it, since I believe a lot of users here only joined BB after the courtside seat cap was introduced (I used to have like, 700 I think). Just add a negative in front of the number of seats you want to demolish and you'll be refunded. Then you can construct whatever amount you want in another category.

Hey, cool. I didn't know that.
