My team relegated and at the first match aftre that i had like 60% of my regular fans number at the arena. Will things change if the team goes better or the disappointment will stay the same all season? With my ticket prices staying the same.

Try to go on a win streak,.........when I first started this game I had a 5 game winning streak, the next home game I had a filled arena, then I lost:( But try a win streak, get that cup $, and as said, win the rival games--also try to get upsets. ex you're a 5 seed beatnig a one seed..........if you were a 5 seed facing a 1 seed. Hope this helps.

Similar to the boost to attendance you get after promotion, there is a penalty to attendance after relegation. It should last until approximately the allstar break, or slightly after (the end of games against the other conference teams). After that, attendance should pick up to typical D2 levels.

Like other people said, it becomes all the more important to win away games before home games, and win TV and rivalry games. It's possible that a higher level PR guy might help if you currently have a really low one (like 2, 3), but the exact extent of that boost is totally unknown.

When you get relegated, you absolutely have to drop your ticket prices. If you don't, you're losing $$$. Adjust your prices now before it's too late.

The opposite applies when you promote, if you don't raise your ticket prices you're leaving money on the table.

I remember demoting from D.I alongside an inactive BB-Mark who did not change his prices while I lowered mine in accordance to the USA pricing site (a friend gave me the numbers) and BB-Mark had a smaller arena than me and a less valuable arena than me (less luxury boxes, lower tier, same amount of courtside), he won less games than me, and he made more money than me in attendance revenue every week. I posted about it offsite and could probably dig up the exact numbers. I remember Paper Pushers demoted with us too and he was the middle ground between me and BB-Mark in terms of prices, and he too made less money than BB-Mark while having a bigger and more valuable arena.

Very interesting observation! I wonder if perhaps it was a reflection of accumulated season ticket holders, which BB-Mark would probably have had a big advantage. Alternatively, maybe he had a high level PR guy that helped solidify attendance.

Could also be level of PR manager or how well they did the year before (the difference between finishing dead last or losing in relegation might mean something in the game engine).

Same problems here despite lowering the prices to D2 levels (i studied the different arena prices) but still had a drop of around 50K - 80K compared to league average. Compounded by the fact that I fired my lvl 4 PR Guy and forgot to hire a new one.

Have lowered prices a bit more but wont really know till the new ticket prices take effect. Did get a new lvl 4 PR guy though and last home game did manage to get around 2K more bleacher seats. Opponent was was better than the team in my first home game.
