I just bought this C off the TL for less than 20k, so I just had to buy him... I already have a big-man who is U21 bound... So I was just going to train this trainee with my U21 trainee for now.

Gunnar Szunerits (24900023)
Power Forward

Owner: Springfield Storm
Weekly salary: $ 3 445
Role: draws a paycheck
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 6000
Age: 18
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: mediocre

Jump Shot: inept
Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: awful
Handling: atrocious
Driving: pitiful
Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: respectable
Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: mediocre
Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: inept
Free Throw: pitiful

So I am training him in RB with my other trainee right now, then he will be getting some IS training and then once my other trainee caps (only allstar potential), I will train his ID. So does anyone have any training advice? And does anyone know about when a superstar caps?

I have a 6'8" big man who trains just fine so that won't be a problem... And hopefully I'll be able to afford him by then lol

The issue isn't how fast his inside skills train, it's how awful his outside skills are. They're so low that he's really not worth training IMO. At least I wouldn't train him to keep. I would pump his inside skills and sell him when he's 19 or 20.

Rotate the training a lot (don't spend too too many consecutive weeks on just one skill) and try not to train a skill to a much higher level than its' related skill (IS, ID, RB). Avoid having SB 4-5 levels below RB or ID as it slow down ID/RB training. Don't forget 1 on 1 for SF/PF.

I've seen the elastic effect working positively numerous times. 5 pops in ID in 6 weeks on a 18y old and 6 pops in PA in 7 weeks on 20y old. None of that would happen if it wasn't for elastic effect.

If it works positively, it also works negatively
