So i'm in a bit of a dilemma because my team has absolutely no depth. i have 5 players right now that i'm spending 14k+ per week on, and the rest are just scrubs. Now i'm wondering whether i should take the players salary, split it in half, sell him, then buy two players that will basically add up to his salary. (so if i had a player work 20k a week, i would sell him for 2 players that cost 10k a week that play the same position).

Or should i just keep trudgin along with my 5 players until my arena is big enough to pay for more? thoughts?

you can buy veterans for cheap with relatively low salary. so that's what I would do.

I noticed that you are selling Jancic. With the money you bring in from him you should invest in your arena and then look to add depth at whatever positions you need to. After you add the depth get rid of the scrubs!

You won't promote with a 5 man roster, so it might be best to think about your future and how you'd best progress. I'd sell your old role players and find a balance between better training (buy at least 1 more quality trainee) and avoiding demotion (finish 6th or higher and you're 100% safe imo -- or maybe you can't even demote from USA IV, I dunno).

Yo gotta be 5th in order to do nothin n chill. 5th is safe, 6th/7th are relegation matches, and 8th gets relegated easily. SO to cap it off, he has to saty 5th without doing nothing and stay there, plus In D4 USA, you DO get demoted to D5. I'm in D5, so there are team down there, so conclusian, you DO GET DEMOTED.

The other conference's 7th seed started 3 days ago and the 8th seed has one player over $5k salary. 6th place looks plenty safe for him. If he wants to improve as much as possible, he should acquire 1-2 more trainees.

And you should really reconsider your stance on trainees as well. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that you can acquire three 18 year olds with perennial allstar+ potential and no severe flaws for ~$20k each and they would be immensely better than your current players and a lot more valuable with dedicated training after this single season. If you chose to sell them they'd make a bare minimum of 300k each.
