While I would usually jump in here and (like Skyhookz and co) enjoy your ridiculous choices, I must admit that I am starting to wonder if you are absorbing anything anyone has said to you at anytime.
OK, I'd like to tell you that I bought a Scottish 18 y.o on the transfer market. His name is Alex 'Archie' Thomson. I am exited about this because his salary fits into my team and I can easily mould him into an U21 Player.
WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND, CRAZY AUSTRALIAN?!
If a 'trainee' doesn't have at least a Superstar potential (maybe even a PA) then DO NOT LOOK TO TRAIN HIM UP AS HE WILL NOT MAKE U21 SELECTION!!!* You got the height and age right, arguably even the salary, but HE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF SUPERSTAR POTENTIAL IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT MAKING HIM INTO AN U21 NT PLAYER!
And of course this is just the foundation. You then need to 'know how' to train him and consistently. However, given that you have ignored the advice on potential previously, I wonder if you have listened to any of the advice on how to train also.
I hope this is clear enough. :S
Good luck...seriously, good luck.
