I am currently working on my arena. Here's a more in depth look, http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thread=219500&m=1.
My economy is struggling, I am way below the league average in almost every category. I am losing 5k per week. So if anyone can help without getting me demoted, that would be great. Thank you.

Honestly your Arena is really small for Iv. and you should have expanded it before promoting because anything under 6000 seats just wont cut it. I would also recommend selling one of your players just to get you on your feet and make sure your at least making money every week. also Don't spend any money on scouting points until you economy is doing better.

right on.
i waited to respond; afrad i' give wrong advice. you should sell the old guys first. even though they are old, they you $$$, try to sell em for more than you bought em. Expand the arena after the cash comes in. I made a mistake bof buying too many guys and that hit me. I decided to blow up my old guys and now gotta 6500 arena. So if you do what i did, you have achance to still be good and have a big arena. As said, you have to 0 the scouts. then, when you got a 6200+ get some play-makers, like a good scorer and a cuople of defenders would d o it. That's my advice.

Yes, I turned off the scouting and am now only losing .5k per week. I have an easy cup game against a bot, so I'm expecting 50k from it. And I was going to try to wait until the end of the year before selling players. I am aiming for 5th place so that I don't have any games to play. So I will save up money all year, sell a few guys and put all that cash into my arena.

Good, you got one guy on sale. But I'd suggest that you sell the last US guy on your team too, while he's still profitable. he may be the last US guy on your team, but you'll be able to buy more once you got the cash in it.

I would actually recommend still paying for 2 scouting points a week. That way in they future you don't end up having to pay 40000 for 4 points a week. Remember to keep game shape up. Also make sure you save up enthusiasm for your TV game against Delpra this week. That is an important game for you to win.

Who are you training? I saw most of your young players are centers.

It might not be a good idea to train your centers in inside skills as they are already your highest earners and further training will increase their wages rapidly putting you back in the red next season while not really inproving their transfer value.
