I was reading in the guide to BB by philosopher kings that the 2-3 zone might not be that great of an idea. I'm playing a team next that does look inside, and I want to directly play against that. Should I play 2-3, 3-2, or man D?

You could run 2-3, if you aren't comfortable with your bigs' ID/SB and your guards' OD. If you want to play with 2-3, you probably want guards with decent ID/SB to cut off drives and passing lanes from the opposing guards, and you might wnat some OD on your bigs so they can defend against jumpers, or if they get switched up on a rotation.

Wow, I've never seen a team with 9 out of 12 players having under 3k salary! And you're #1!
2-3 zone puts no pressure on the LI guards, which enables them to have many assists. If one wants to experiment why not pull a FCP, while you're in a lower league, though probably the worst vs. LI :)

I guess I'm in an easy division, and I'm in 1st in my first year playing BB.

What would happen if I played 3-2?

You might turn him over a bit more than m2m, but if the difference between your OD and his PA is little maybe not even that.
He'll get more offensive rebounds.
Your SF might foul out.
Occasionally, GE will throw up "breaks" and you center will run after their SG beyond 3p line.

I would reserve experimenting with 3-2 vs. R'n'G teams.
