my idea is that the game is great & doesnt need a massive overhaul 2 improve it but rather some tweaks

all of these ideas involve a trivial amount of coding just changing a variable in already existing code so bbmarin could do it during a coffee break @ work & the game would be much better right away

1) raise the salary floor - we all hate tanker but some are forced 2 do it to survive or to prepare for their next b3 run or just because they can this is easily fixed, the salary floor is a great tool just change the formula so it is 50% higher than it currently is

2) limit rentals - it really sucks when teams rent $300k players for a cup match or relegation series or just 2 take u down in 1 match we already have a 4 day minimum contract length make it 4 weeks then if you want a guy no problem but u dont see him here for 1 game & then gone - would also kill day traders hooray

3) adjust the sliders on the 2/3 zone - how many people complain about how boring the never ending LI/M2M battles are? if u just made the 2/3 zone better it would solve the problem still leaving LI the same against M2M, 3/2 etc but puting in a vaible counter

4) improve the average quality potential of drafted players, seriously all those benchwarmers, role players, 6th men and starters are just variations of useless you should be able to get a $4k all star in the first round in most drafts, not a $6k HoF but someone actually worth training for an average team

5) change the numbers of bookmarks & buddies - come on supporters give this game life how much would it cost to give them a few more of these?

6) list free agents @ 15x their salary (currently x10) we all know the economy is stupid @ the moment with players cheaper to buy than to pay so we need to get more players retired & get the balance a bit better, the x 10/$1,000,000 was a good start so lets continue & make it even better - good players will still be bought but monoskilled duds will start to disappear

all trivial coding changes that would have a big positive impact on gameplay, not be hard for new players to understand & make the great game even better

why wouldnt u agree

I agree with all except the last one, thaat's why I say most. Reason is that sometimes these players do come useful. And it'll be hard on the guys who don't save up money (i.e. build up arena or get a staff member) I would say 12X is a more reasonable thing. Also, little tip-topsy on the draft. That means 6th Men and all those other useless guys will start to disappear. That's a good thing. Raise the potential level. It shouldn't be that hard. I mean, who trains a 6th Man, Role Player, Benchwarmers, and Announcers? Only once in a while a fair 12k 6th man comes around, but now these days it's rare. Maybe a draft could assume a lottery, like the NBA, only the teams not in the playoffs will be in it. But make it in a percentile basis on record, players they have (based on what division you are in) and PD. I know this one is a little drastic, but hopefully it will be immplemented in the future. Like the rest.

Aren't the 4 and the 6 plain opposites?
I mean...
The 4 would make the number of valuable trained players explode, which would make the prices fall.
The 6 would make the price go up.

What is your real aim?

i don't like such collective threads, since you cann't get a dgood discussion and overview.

1. suggested several times in own threads

2. also not really new, but i don't like it and not so common

3. a 2-3 zone is cheaper to get then a mtm team, and for the SF you also find a useful place in a normal team even when it maybe a backup

4. this will just change the quality of player we condsider as crap, you should have seen the dudes we trained at the beginning since there was so few draftees.

6. i think will come and maybe a different way, but FA get actually slowly removed don't know why this would be changing in future
