No, the system behind it hasn't changed. Only do you see a word instead of the number now.

As for the cosmetic change, I think it's great as beginners will notice it and start to treat enthusiasm with the care it deserves. But now it will be harder to take advantage of some of the teams out there ;)

yep, its a good move, as I think most new teams have no idea as to the importance of it,


Except that it isn't even meant to be shown to beginners. There are 3 tactics complexity, & enthusiasm is only shown under "AllStar" (the most complex option)

Tactics Complexity:
Rookie -- Veteran -- AllStar

Don't like the change. (want it reverted back). It's an annoyance seeing some random adjective where a number used to be.

The adjectives are odd too... like, "focused" and "eager" are 2 separate things? Not words you really compare. (but of the 2, the lower focused seems better to me... ) And shouldn't actually being "ready" be better than being simply "inspired"? Idk... but even if not, i'd certainly take a team that's "determined" over one that's just "inspired".

not a fan regardless.

When you put your mouse over the enthusiasm, it shows the actual number, so you can still find out that way.

It's more about the fact everything else in BB is measured by a word, rather than a numerical value...so its just moving the enthusiasm system to be consisentent with that.

So i guess that's less objectionable. Still don't like it though. (& why wait until season 20?? why suddenly in the middle of the season too?)

I think you're underestimating the meaning of "eager" and "inspired" as opposed to "focused" and "determined", respectively.

to me, determined & focused seem stronger/fiercer/ more menacing than eager & inspired do. i guess that's subjective though.

I'm just glad the BB's are still alive. I was worried there for a bit.

Good to see a change, even if it's not helpful or the most important thing BB needs.
