3 points. I have to be fair on this one. So this one goes for myself. (Yes the rules are for everyone but me)

2points. He is buying, he is selling, he has way too much free time.....Although he cannot read the games my two points go to Ramquizibo.

1. I generally ignore the Great 8 because I think they are a bunch of losers but since I want them to participate in the pool I am gonna nominate the Royal challenge. I think they have more of a royal than of a challenge.... anyways my vote goes to sparrow.

Well since no one else will go, I guess I am next.

3 points. He has ready made his mark as a rookie in the tougher conference and showed that lumberjacks can do more than chop wood and eat pancakes. I award the flannel-clad NetteB16 with 3 points.

2 points. Although his presence on the forum is minimal, he does join in for the in game chat. I award 2 points to GForce03.

1 point. He has been in this league forever but still seems to come up with something funny to say. I award 1 point to kokka.

3 Points: Ramquizibo (Barbarian Marauders) - Tied for best record in the league and by far the most active on the boards. Plus, only his 2nd year in the league after promoting. Without him, our league would be much more boring.

2 Points: sparrow (Royal Challengers) - Tied for best record in the league in the tougher conference.

1 Point: Astral Weeks. Because I'm afraid of this team.

Somehow I am not wining, it is pretty obvious to me that this is the result of jealousy but I will keep the poll opened until the end of the regular season so the rest of the guys will have time to straight the results.

I realize that this thread is closed but it caught my attention. The best manager and the favorite manager could be 2 different people.

The best manager should not necessarily be the manager of the league champion or who was the most active in the forum. It should be who did the best job with the talent that he has. This is why Phil Jackson did not win more Coach of the Year awards. It could be a manager with an ordinary team who did a great job with a group of players that exceeded everyone’s expectations.

The favorite manager is more of a popularity contest that is never held. It is a likeable person who could be an ordinary manager but is well liked by his peers. It could also be someone who was very active in the forum.

Looking at Season 18 if you include the playoffs the best manager was probably Tachenko. He probably did the best job with the roster that he had as he beat a 22-0 team with his 11-11 team to get to the Finals. I keep saying probably because I was not here but some of you were.

You could also start an argument about who was the real MVP. The votes for Manager of the Year and for MVP are very rarely unanimous.

This thread was for Season 20, but by all means go back to Season 1 and determine who was was the best. We're not stopping you, but I doubt you really want to do that.
