Hi Everyone,

I've received a heart-felt request from the Austria NT coach asking us not to CT them in our last competitive game. It makes no difference to us as we cannot qualify except a win would give us a little more pride. If they win, they qualify for the playoffs, if they lose they can mathematically not make the playoffs (if Slovinia win and they lose by a total point differential of 40) although my analysis says they should still make it in last place.

I said I'd put it to a vote in our forums to let our community decide. I'm not going to let you know my opinion as not to influence the result. But what do you think we should do? Consider the moral aspect of it.

Let me know as soon as you can so I can make any changes necessary.

If they are good enough then they will be able to qualify on their own merit.

Going out of our way to let them win would be unfair to the rest of the competition.

Great! The reason we won was because we had a fantastic GS update for the 1st time this season. I'm sorry to say that it looks like Austria might be out. I'll let you know when I see the updated standings.

EDIT: I've checked, and they're in! So congrats to Austria on their achievement and to us on ours! A solid 4-4 campaign and so very close to 5-3. Still wouldn't have made the playoffs but I really feel good about a few core players on the team now. And we're slowly progressing!
