If I end up 5th seed I dont pay any expenses during POs correct?
Do I still get Merchandise and TV contract money those weeks?
I just want to know those answers.

You still have to pay staff salaries, and scouting (if applicable). You won't pay player salaries.
Yes, you still get Merchandise and TV Contract money. You won't get Attendance money though.
