I see everyone talking about improving your Arena, I am just trying to understand why this is so important, especially if you are not selling out your games. I am trying to improve my lower tier and courtside seats, but I don't think I need much more than 500-1000 bleachers at this point (which I am thinking about building next time I have a chance to expand my arena) Wouldn't you be better off building a winner and turn a 20-30K a profit each week than to have a crappy, big arena and not sell out games?

You will need them when you promote, it is the biggest part of your income, in higher leagues just 1000 more bleachers can bring you ~$15k more a game. And if you add that up is ~$150k-$200k a season.
Trust me it is a great investment. Especially now that you dont really need the money for anything else, just training, having good gameshape and managing enthusiasm can promote you out of %95 of D.V leagues.

I am thinking I could probably easily get to a 7000+ seat arena the time I am hoping to promote to DIV in S22, is that a fair amount of seats or am I under shooting it a bit? Also, I have been building in small chunks right now, if i were to build in bulk, say use 800K of the promotion bonus, would that take longer than six days?

The trick is to find the largest number of seats that will complete in a week or two. That way you get the benefit of the new seats as soon as possible. If you build in too small chunks, you still take a minimum of 6 days.

You should want around ~8,000+ for D.4 and ~11,000+ for D.3, obviously the more the better but you should have at least around those areas. Building in big chunks isnt my favorite, because then you wont be making as much money while they are building. As the other person said, its best to build as much as you can at once that is under 10 days.

It's usually safe to assume that if it lists the total build time as six days that you might get them all built within two weeks. Usually. ;)

Just to put a number on it, while I was in D.V, I would always try to follow this rubric on expansions; (Minimum) Bleachers - 500, Lower Tier - 200, Court side - 100, Luxury - 5.

CoachSK's rough estimate of how big your arena should be by promotion time is a great estimate to follow.

i had problems with my arena b4 but now it went from 40% fill to 76% and it will only get better cuase i just blew out my rival and it was on tv so fan survey will be high so next home game will be at +85%.

Fan survey:

I am pleased with the team's performance last season N/A

I am pleased with the team's performance this season 4 balls

The team played well in our last league game 5 balls

The team played well the last time they were on TV 5 balls

The team played well in our last game against The Marine Green, our hated rival 1 ball

I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred 1 ball

The general manager is doing everything he can to try to improve the team 5 ball

All things considered, I am happy with the direction the team is going in 4 ball

went from that to this

Although that is good news, I just peeked at your arena and your bleacher prices are kinda high for how you're doing in your league and considering you're still in D.V. Your best bet is to lower your bleachers just a smidgen next season to attain maximum profit.
