Training camps for NFL teams are starting. My Redskins are starting today.

I voted for the cult, we call it "hockey". I'd say we use octopi instead of chickens but I'm not a Red Wings fan.

I'm somewhat of a Steelers fan but it's hard to follow sports here (UK), if I don't specifically look for it or get grapevined in I'll never find out. ESPN just shows car racing, soccer and sometimes tennis all day so I stopped even checking.

Lol,

I'm sorry that you had to support the Redskins last year, but I imagine this season is going to be great fun! I mean, you'll probably lose a lot but there'll be some phenomenal RGIII plays.

As a chargers fan, i'm just predicting another underwhelming season.

Underwhelming Chargers' season: 8-8, make playoffs?
For awhile the Raiders were my favorite team but then they cut JaMarcus.

Standard, well, the last 2 seasons we've (basically) been 8-8 and missed out! I'll be interested to see how Payton gets on. hehe

For awhile the Raiders were my favorite team but then they cut JaMarcus.


You liked him from college? I can't think of any other reason to spontaneously like the Raiders. :D

I liked the Raiders because they were a comedy of errors.

Drafting criteria: Best time in the 40. Owner: Meddling 90 year old. Roster: Mostly malcontents. Kicker: Awesome, legitimately tries 60yd field goals which are sometimes the offense's best option. Prospects for next season (any next season): 3-13.

But then the Lions 0-16'd with a quarterback that ran out the back of his own end zone so it's hard to top that.

But both those teams are sort of playoff contenders now so I have no real "favorite" anymore


Oh and I can't tell Southeastern teams with teal uniforms apart. There's like, Jaguars, and Panthers, and maybe some more that I forget? So they'll never be my favorites.

you know... the internet offers free streaming of all major league american sports + even PPV events. and i hear they have the internet in the UK now!
